MEET THE TEAM
We couldn’t bring you professional, quality dental care without our wonderful staff’s hard work and dedication. Below you can meet our team, and as always, if you have any questions, please feel free to call our office.
Dr. Tim Verharen
Dr. Tim graduated dental school in 1997. He spent his first 7 years of practice working with a community dental center, providing essential care to the underserved populations of Kitsap and Grays Harbor counties. Here, he picked up many of the concepts he uses for trauma sensitive patients today. Governor Gregoire recognized him with the “Governor’s Volunteer Service Award” in 2009.
Outside of work, Dr. Tim has an intense love for sailing. He recently completed a race from Victoria, Canada to Maui, Hawaii, which took 10 days and 20 hours to complete. Though their boat broke down 2,300 miles in, leaving them stranded in the middle of the ocean (something he says is about one of the scariest things that can happen to a person!), he doesn’t plan on giving up sailing anytime soon. He remains an active member of the Port Madison Yacht Club.
Dr. Keegan Waldo
Dr. Keegan Waldo has been a part of the Current Dental family for nearly two years. He graduated from Gonzaga University and attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Afterward, he completed his training with the Northwest Dental Residency. Dr. Waldo is passionate about all dentistry disciplines but enjoys the field’s simple pleasures the most. He says that his favorite part of the job is a tie between providing pain relief and creating healthy, beautiful smiles.
Outside of the dentist office, Dr. Waldo loves exploring Washington’s natural beauty through camping, sailing, and skiing. In addition to his renowned dental skills, he is also an adept home chef!
Scarlette has been a part of this team since 2016. She has become an expert in resolving even the most complicated insurance problems and will likely become a great resource for any question one may have. Scarlette enjoys building long-term patient relationships and finds great fulfillment in helping to improve others’ oral health.
In Scarlette’s spare time she enjoys being with her family. They enjoy cooking together and jamming out to classic rock. She also enjoys doing DIY projects around her house.
Alma-May has been an integral part of the Current Dental team ever since graduating from Eastern Washington University in 2016. The most rewarding aspect of her job is to build personal relationships with her patients while providing optimal dental care.
Alma-May enjoys being outdoors when the weather is nice and spending time with family and friends. She likes staying active with skiing, camping, volleyball, and softball. But if a good Netflix show is on, you may catch her binge-watching it! She won’t stay on the couch too long though, as her long term goal is to explore our forever changing world.
